BUTTERFLY is the folding unit positioned behind the creasing and perforating machine. The electronic set up of the two parallel folds is automatically done through a HMI panel; the parallel folds are performed by special knife units that allow sheets up to 0,45 mm of thickness to be folded whithout distortion to the sheet even if folding against the grain.
BUTTERFLY 3 model thanks to a third knife unit, in addition to the folds performed by the Butterfly 2, can also do a “closed gate fold” and the “Z” fold 8 pages.
